The Joyce Foundation will be holding a cocktail reception to celebrate the book, “Tap, Click, Read: Growing Readers in a World of Screens,” and a new project that maps the most innovative digital tools used for childhood development. A Conversation with Lisa Guernsey
On Tuesday, February 23 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Lisa Guernsey will be speaking at Busboys and Poets in Arlington, VA about Tap, Click, Read. English teacher and education writer Pat Welsh will interview her about navigating the complicated world of screens and learning to read in the digital age. A book signing will follow the event. All book proceeds go to early childhood research.
